A 24-year-old woman was assaulted by a man while walking along a street in Witney.
Thames Valley Police said the woman was walking along Corn Street at about 2.30am on Sunday June 26 towards Marlborough Lane when she was approached by a man in his 20s who assaulted her.
The man is described as white, of medium build and about 6ft tall.
He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
The woman suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
A man has been arrested and bailed until July 9.
Investigating officer, Sgt Andrew Ball of Force CID based at Witney Police Station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at this time and witnessed this incident or saw anything suspicious to contact police on 101."
