FOUR-year-old Miranda Hyde from Eynsham had fun making traditional Christmas decorations with her father Justen at the annual Cogges Farm winter fayre.

There was festive food and fun for all the family at the Witney farm museum on Sunday.

Children got to meet Father Christmas in the farm’s cosy back kitchen with an open fire, and take home presents to put under the tree.

There was a feast of Christmas treats for the day, with home-made mince pies and Cogges Christmas Puddings to take home, and relishes and jams made with produce from the garden.

There was also a chance to warm up with a spicy mulled wine and Christmas pudding in the kitchen.

Mr Hyde said: “We had a lovely time. It was very traditional and there were lovely decorations.”

There were more than 30 stalls in the Wheat Barn and Barley Barn with crafters and makers offering hand made gifts, along with music and dance.
