THE Caterham Formula 1 team has sent about 40 staff to Abu Dhabi for the final Grand Prix of the season on Sunday.
The motor racing team, based at Leafield Technical Centre, in West Oxfordshire, has missed the last two races of the championship after going into administration last month.
About 230 staff were made redundant on Friday after being locked out of their workplace since the end of October.
Kamui Kobayashi has been retained as one of the two drivers, with the other yet to be announced.
The team yesterday tweeted pictures of work under way to set up its garage at the Yas Marina racing circuit in the Gulf state.
