Chris Hadfield
Retired astronaut Chris Hadfield has spent a total of 166 days in space but today he will be spending one in Oxford.
The first Canadian in space will be signing copies of his new book You Are Here at Blackwell’s in the city centre.
The book uses the 55-year-old’s extraordinary photos taken from the International Space Station and provides a running commentary of newly-discovered insight into planet Earth.
The free event takes place in the Norrington Room at the store in Broad Street from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
