A 24-year-old man whose actions forced police to close three roads in Bicester was still being held at a Thames Valley force station yesterday.

Officers closed Mallards Way, Redwing Close and Siskin Road, Bicester, on Monday night because the man was threatening to harm himself.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage under £500 and assault by beating.
