Girl, 13, charged with assault by beating
A 13-YEAR-OLD girl from Banbury has been charged with assault by beating after a 12-year-old girl was attacked in a local park.
Thames Valley Police said the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on May 16 and charged on June 10.
The charge is in connection with the assault on the girl on May 15.
It comes after a video of an assault in Banbury was shared on social media.
The girl is due to appear at Banbury Magistrates' Court on June 30.
