United suffered their first defeat under new boss Darren Patterson as they were beaten 1-0 at Northwich Victoria in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
Alex Jeannin was sent off for a second yellow card, and the U's lost striker Matt Green and midfielder Eddie Anaclet to serious shoulder injuries.
Former U's striker Lee Steele got Vics' winner in the 37th minute.
