Banbury Central’s two successful fours
Two Banbury Central teams have qualified for the National Fours Championships at Royal Leamington Spa next month.
Skip Brenda Havard with substitute June Bone, Annie Gilkes and Pam Shepherd booked their place by beating Jeanette Latter’s four 20-17 in the semi-finals.
And Anne Norton’s side of Mo Cox, Gill Hunt and Sue Waring and Anne Norton progressed by brushing aside Gill Robin’s Henley team with a 22-10 victory.

Quarter-finals: J Latter 21, C Campion 19; B Havard 25, G Lambourne 11; A Norton 22, M Plested 14; G Robins 24, R Phelps 18.
Semi-finals: B Havard 20, J Latter 17; A Norton 22, G Robins 10.
