CONTROVERSIAL plan to build 133 homes north of Grove will be debated at the annual parish meeting tonight.

Warwick-based Gallagher Estates and home builders Gleeson want to build the houses north of North Drive to the west of Station Road and south of Bellinger’s garage.

The scheme has come under fire from residents in the past because the new estate would not have any roads linking it to the rest of the village.

In separate plans, Williams F1 is looking to build 180 homes north of the garage.

Tonight’s meeting will also see Grove Parish Council elect a chairman and vice chairman for 2015/16, and set a Financial Risk Assessment for the year.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting and make representations on any local issue, but are asked to notify the parish clerk first.

Visitors are also asked to notify the parish clerk if they wish to make audio or video recordings of the proceedings. The meeting will be held at the Old Mill Hall, School Lane, from 7.30pm.

Members of the public can make comments on the Gallagher Estates plans until Wednesday, May 20.
