TWO men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Kerry Reeves, 26, in Abingdon earlier this month.

Police today also confirmed a murder weapon had not yet been found and appealed for anyone who might know something about it to get in touch.

Thames Valley Police said a 45-year-old man from Harrow in London was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 33-year-old man from Oxford was also arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting an offender and helping to commit a murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Mike Lynch said: "I would urge anyone who has specific information about the weapon used in Kerry’s murder to contact police immediately.

"It is vital that we recover the weapon to aid our investigation and to safeguard the public."

Emergency services were called at about 8.20pm on November 3 to a report of a woman being shot in Thornhill Walk off Northcourt Road.

Miss Reeves died in hospital two days later.

Both men have been released on police bail until December 28.

Police previously charged Billy Johnson, 20, from Corby, and Charles Noble, 20, from Ealing, with murder on November 11. They are due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 8.
