A MAN wanted on recall to prison was last seen in Banbury and has links to Oxford.
Andre Parker, also known as Andre Hurst, aged 27, was last seen in Banbury town centre on November 8.
An appeal has now been put out for the public to help find him, 18 days after he was last seen.
Police are searching for Parker, who has links to both Banbury and Oxford, after he breached the conditions of his licence.
Police refused to say what the conditions of Parker’s licence were and what crime he was initially convicted for.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Jones said it was not for the force to reveal why Parker had initially been put on licence.
She added: “He is out on licence, but breached his licence conditions and we want to recall him to prison.”
They did say the public should not approach him.
Parker was decribed as 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build. He is mixed race, and has dark brown cropped hair.
Det Sgt Richard Pickering, of Banbury Force CID, said: “Officers are conducting enquiries to attempt to locate Parker. I would appeal to any members of the public who recognise Parker or anyone fitting his description to report this to police as soon as possible.
“Anyone who sees Parker should not approach him but should instead call Thames Valley Police on the 24-hour enquiry centre number 101.”
