FOOTBALLERS raised cash for the county’s biggest street parade.
Organisers of the Cowley Road Carnival are busy preparing for this summer’s festival next month.
Xhetan Bushi, owner of Cowley Road’s Bar Aroma, decided to support the cause and organised the second Aroma Cup Carnival.
Footballers representing countries across the world united on Sunday for the charity tournament at Oxford Brookes University, which saw Albania beating Saudi Arabia in the final.
Mr Bushi said: “This year has been a great competition with some fantastic play.”
Festival-goers will take to Cowley Road on July 5 between noon and 5pm to celebrate this year’s theme of Creating Our Future.
Cowley Road Works, the team organising this year’s festival, has raised more than £70,000 of its £120,000 target for the event.
