BEER lovers made the most of a sunny day in West Oxfordshire as the Chadlington Beer Festival returned for another year.
The event at Chadlington Memorial Hall in the village saw real ale mix with Pimms, fine wines and cider as well as live music and entertainment.
As in its first year in 2004 the festival is still run to raise funds for Chadlington School and to bring the community together.
On Saturday Clare Leach, from Witney, was at the festival for the second year running, along with her husband David and English springer spaniel Bramble.
She said: “The weather was better this year, it was really good and David likes real ale so it was a good chance for him to try lots of real ales.
“I have just started drinking cider and they have lots of types, scrumpies and newer-style ones too.
“I had one called Black Dragon which was quite nice, it was quite strong too.
“We took a picnic because the weather was so nice and we sat and enjoyed the nice atmosphere.
“I was a bit disappointed they did not have the line-dancing ladies this year but it was still good.”
