TENANTS of a property in Banbury could be barred from entering their home by police.
Thames Valley Police has been granted powers by the courts to evict tenants of a property in Gillet Place for three months.
The eviction is down to anti-social behaviour, but the force said they couldn’t give the specific reason for their application to remove the tenants.
Acting Sergeant Jade Hewitt said: “We hope that this sends a strong message to all of those people that cause anti-social behaviour.”
Oxford Magistrates’ Court granted the police the power to temporarily evict the tenants on May 15.
