A HOMELESS man with tuberculosis who spat at medical staff has been sentenced to 10 months jail.
David Goodwin, of no fixed abode, appeared at Oxford Crown Court today.
He was convicted last month of breaching an antisocial behaviour order handed to him on October 30, 2014.
It came after he was found guilty of spitting at medical staff at Luther Street Medical Practice while taking medication for his condition on January 7.
At the trial in April, the prosecution said this was in breach of an Asbo that banned him from threatening, abusing and harassing people, coughing or spitting at any person or trying to spread TB.
