DRIVERS are experiencing heavy delays on the roads leaving Oxford, with many stuck in standstill traffic.
The A40 London Road is congested, as well as the Botley Road.
Stagecoach Oxford tweeted saying their services are currently experiencing delays of “up to 20 minutes” to services using the Botley Road in both directions.
Oxford Bus Company tweeted: “We are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes on our X90 service from London. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“Express services are diverting in to Oxford therefore, we are unable to drop off at St Clements, High Street or St Aldates.
“The 400s and 300s have been split and passengers traveling to Thornhill will need to board at St Aldates as New Road will not be served.
“The 5/X3/13 are not serving the station. For travel from the Station to the City passengers can board a U1 from Park End Street.”
