POLICE have released CCTV footage of a woman after a disabled pensioner's car was damaged at Oxford rail station.

British Transport Police are looking to speak to the woman after the 77-year-old's car was vandalised. The victim parked a Honda Jazz in one of the station's disabled bays on April 6 at about 10am.

Officers said the damage - dents to the front driver’s side of the car and scratches to the wing - was caused at about 3pm.

Pc Antonio Civitillo said: “The owner of the car, a blue-grey Honda Jazz, parked in a disabled bay on the north side of the station’s main car park at 10am.

“When he returned at 4pm, he discovered the damage, which has been valued at around £400 to repair.

“The victim in this case is an elderly disabled man, who has been left understandably very upset and disappointed by what has happened.”

He said: “Having viewed CCTV from the car park and the station, I have identified a person who may be able to assist.

“We are keen to speak to her as we believe she may have information which can help our investigation.

“Do you recognise this woman? Were you in the station car park at the time? If so, we want to hear from you.”
