POLICE have reopened the junction of North Way and Burchester Avenue in Barton after it was closed for a murder investigation.
Officers were called to North Way shortly before 10.50pm on Tuesday after reports of a man bleeding heavily in a red Mazda parked in the road.
It is understood he had been stabbed.
The man, who police said was in his 30s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment but died yesterday.
Last night police arrested a man in his 30s from Cowley.
He is in custody, along with a 31-year-old from Oxford arrested yesterday.
The scene at Kelburne Road
Officers spent this morning searching a home and stretch of road in Cowley as part of their investigations.
It is understood that officers were on the scene on the corner of Mayfair Road and Hillsborough Road at about 6.30am.
Officers cordoned off a house and a large blue tent, believed to be a police tent, has been put up by a front garden on Kelburne Road.
