A PAEDOPHILE headteacher whose body was discovered in the River Thames was found with a note, an inquest heard.
David Tuohy, 83, of Whitehouse Road, Oxford was found in the river at Osney Lock, a few days before he was due to be sentenced at Norwich Crown Court.
Tuohy had been convicted for 15 counts of indecent assault against five boys in the 1970s and 80s.

At the opening of his inquest today coroner's officer David Freeman said the retired special educational needs school head teacher was found Tuesday last week on the riverbed.
A note was found among his possessions, the inquest heard.
Thames Valley Police are not treating the death as suspicious, and a post mortem found the cause of death to be drowning.
The inquest was adjourned until July 22, pending further investigations.
