TWO men have been taken to John Radcliffe hospital following a six-vehicle crash on the A34 northbound at the Peartree Interchange.

Four cars and two vans were involved in the crash, in which blocked all lanes for a period of time and caused traffic delays.

Spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service Catherine Morrow said: “At 2.21pm we called out after reports of a six-vehicle traffic collision.

“It involved four cars and two vans and we sent one ambulance crew and two ambulance officers to the scene.

“Two patients have been taken to the John Radcliffe hospital, one adult male with injuries to his leg and foot and another adult male with a possible chest injuries.

“Five patients are being assessed and treated at the scene for minor injuries.”

All lanes have no reopened.
