TWO men were assaulted in Oxford city centre last weekend.
Police said the 24-year-old men were knocked out in the assault outside Debenhams in George Street on Saturday, November 15 at about 3am.
A group of seven or eight men were seen with the victims at the scene and ran towards St Giles.
One of the victims injured his cheek and the other suffered a broken ankle, tissue damage to his jaw and bruised his ribs and his left shoulder.
They were both taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and later discharged.
Police want to speak to the group of men, who were white and aged between 19 and 21, and anyone else in the area at the time.
They described one of the men as having short black hair, wearing a stripy top and jeans, with a large build.
Another man had straight brown hair coming down his forehead, aged about 19 and had acne on his face, police added.
He was wearing a dark jacket with a hood over his head.
A third man was described as bald, about 5ft 7in and wearing a red jacket.
