THOUSANDS of beer-lovers flocked to Oxford Town Hall to raise a toast to real ale at the annual Oxford Beer Festival.

Organised by the local branch of CAMRA over three days, the festival featured 180 real ales as well as 60 ciders and perries.

This year’s event, which finished on Saturday, was the 17th beer festival and Oxford CAMRA chairman Tony Goulding said it was a complete success.

He said: “It was absolutely superb and all the beer sold out.
