Christmas lights go up in Cornmarket
THERE are stil 67 days to go but Christmas lights have already been put up by city council staff in Oxford city centre.
Council spokeswoman Sophy Mutch said the lights had been put up in Queen Street, Cornmarket Street and St Aldate’s. She added: “The lights are not being switched on until November 21.”
