A child’s bike was stolen from a back garden in North Street, Grimsbury on Tuesday evening.

The child’s mother looked out of a window and saw a man in her garden throwing the BMX bike over the fence to an accomplice waiting on the other side.

She shouted and the men made off with the bike in the direction of Gibbs Road.

They are both about 5ft 3ins and wore dark coloured hooded tops and trousers.

Police are asking witnesses to contact PC Lucy McDonagh by calling 101.
