SUPERGRASS frontman Gaz Coombes is to return to South Park to play a music festival, 13 years after he performed there alongside Radiohead.

The Wheatley star, inset, who has performed under his own name since the break-up of his chart-topping band, is among a clutch of artists confirmed for the OxfordOxford event, which takes place from September 26 to 28.

He will be joined in a big top in the park by fellow Oxford acts Pixel Fix and Dance a la Plage, and two national artists Christian Gregory and Celeste.

The headliner and two other support bands are yet to be announced.

Organisers, Eleven 11 Events, revealed more details of the festival during a launch event at the Ultimate Picture Palace in Jeune Street, East Oxford, yesterday.

He said: “I’m really pleased with the line-up. This is going to be a dream come true.”
