I didn't get to see Frost/Nixon at the weekend but I did make it to Henry Porter's talk in Wootton-by-Woodstock village hall on Friday night.

It's the opening of the Ron Howard film Frost/Nixon tonight and I am looking forward to seeing the movie, based on the play by Peter Morgan.

There was an embarrassment of riches the other day when I descended into the basement of the Oxfam bookshop in St Giles to put a price on some old donations.
