YOUR story shaming the traders who waste energy by leaving their lights on at night (Monday’s Oxford Mail) expertly exposes the lies of those big businesses which purport to be ‘green’, yet squander the planet’s resources.
We are bombarded with adverts from multi-nationals, which attempt to portray them as environmentally responsible. Yet they continue to waste energy – even at their own expense.
