No influence?

I would like to reply to Peter Bunce, who said that I was pathetic for asking Penny Little's position on the sprays used for killing wasps and ants and on pest control (Oxford Mail, July 12).

He says her request to Liberty to state its position on hunting is OK as it has influence in the matter.

He goes on to say that Mrs Little is a leading and effective anti-hunt campaigner.

As he thinks it is extraordinary for me to ask her position on pests etc, is he saying that she, as a leading anti-hunt campaigner, has no influence in these matters?

I do not think she will be very happy to hear that.

Mrs Little has answered my questions and I thank her for her reply.
