WHAT a pickle that Theresa May is in.

The Tory Prime Minister is not reducing student fees, not building any council houses and satisfying nobody over the European Union.

The huge Trump tariff against Bombardier planes, partly made in Northern Ireland, tells it all.

A new trade deal, outside the EU, between Britain and the United States would be a disaster for this country.

May said Brexit meant Brexit. Now she wants continuing trade and free movement with the rest of the EU for at least two more years, and close links thereafter.

But Britain would have no say on the European rules. Only a Labour government will invest in the health service and introduce a Real Living Wage of at least £10 an hour.

The sooner May, Boris and the rest of the squabbling crew stop steering Britain on to the rocks the better.
