THERESA May at Prime Minister’s Questions says that the stats show that everyone is working, but she doesn’t tell the truth about part-time, zero-hour and short-term contracts, poor wages and unsociable hours, all of which does little to overcome the real problems of low pay, insecurity and stress.
How can the young build a life when faced with little hope for the future? It is time to stop fooling ourselves that this Government’s employment and economic policies are working. Until we achieve fair and decent employment rights and working conditions nothing will change.
