IN THE run-up to the General Election, Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds campaigned against extreme Brexit, and to protect our local economy.

On June 29, 101 MPs voted in favour of Britain remaining in the Single Market, the single surest way of maintaining prosperity in our city. Remarkably, Anneliese Dodds was not among them.

For every one of Oxford East’s Remain voters, for every Oxford academic and student who believes in open borders, for every John Radcliffe patient worried that skilled European doctors and nurses will no longer be there to treat them and for every BMW worker worried about their future the failure of Anneliese Dodds to support them amounts to only one thing – a betrayal.
