THERE can be no doubt that the Foreign policy of David Cameron’s Government has increased the risk of terrorism in the UK.

I am referring to the disastrous policy to effect a regime change in Libya and to depose or murder Gaddafi.

I believe that the Conservative Cabinet thought it would be a populist move to murder Gaddafi. and might win them votes, as Libya had been implicated in the Lockerbie affair.

William Hague was very gung-ho and immediately set about offering his military support and money to the Islamic rebels. Islamic State should be laughing all the way to the bank thanks to reckless Hague.

These radicalised Islamists are the same faction that the Manchester bomber went to Libya to fight with.

In other words, the Conservative government sent aid to the radicalised Islamists that Gaddafi was having problems controlling just to win the popular vote.

Gaddafi was a Westernised leader who was not a threat to our national security.

He was a moderniser who disliked the radicalised Islamists and as he was murdered he asked why the British government were doing this to him.

Therefore in my opinion the Conservatives are responsible for putting our country at greater risk from Islamic state rebels as they have still got all the military hardware we gave them in the Libyan war.
