Former pub would have made good surgery site
WHAT good news for the patients of Marston Medical Centre in Cherwell Drive due to close in July.
The location of two alternative surgeries have been found. But the one which will be at the Marston Pharmacy in Old Marston Road is but for a few short years only.
What a shame that a new doctors’ surgery plus a dentists surgery – to replace the one that closed down in Cherwell Drive, couldn’t have found a permanent home at the old Jack Russell pub site in Salford Road, thus keeping the site as a community asset.
There would have been ample parking.
