IT WOULD seem our councillors, who purport to represent the electorate, have no concept of the grief and rage generated by their vote to destroy adult day services.

My own councillor is incommunicado. The use of highflown language to describe their appalling decisions merely confirms their obvious contempt for the voters.

Clearly, this is another reason why the concept of adopting a unitary council must be dismissed as we will be reduced to having only one person to speak for the needs of the voters. One party rule will become the order of the day.
