Your match reporter deserves a red card
I DID not attend the Gillingham v Oxford match on Monday so I cannot possibly comment on any aspect of the game.
However, in the match ratings in the Oxford Mail on Tuesday, January 3, the journalist David Pritchard gave Ryan Taylor a ‘7’, along with the comment ‘Got Oshilaja sent off’.
If any professional footballer goes out of his way to get another footballer sent off then he should not be playing football.
Therefore David Pritchard’s comments are totally inappropriate and therefore deserves he a ‘red card’ himself, along with a three-match ban from reporting on Oxford United’s games.
