Pensioners’ bus passes no longer worth having
WITH reference to my previous letters regarding the removed bus service serving the village of Horspath, I was present at last week’s parish council meeting when the bus topic again arose.
The only thing they could suggest was getting taxis from the village.
The parish has spoken to a local taxi company to get cars available from Horspath village.
May I ask do any of the parish councillors know how much a taxi from Horspath to Cowley, Asda or the local doctors’ surgery at Wheatley costs?
Pensioners’ bus passes are now useless.
