Site for new bus stop is clearly hazardous
I LOOK forward to reading the comments of the bus companies and city council on Barbara Naylor’s letter setting out the problems for passengers having to use the re-sited 8/9 bus stop in St Aldate’s.
Not only is it hazardous to get to the bus stop from Carfax but one has to make sure the bus hasn’t stopped behind several other buses, and woe betide you if you have to fight your way through a group of tourists walking up the narrow pavement outside Pembroke College to board the bus. Surely a better solution could be found during the closure of Queen Street?
