ACCORDING to Google there are 112 cities or towns the size of, or larger than Oxford in the UK.

I am 80 years old, my great grandson is nine. In 71 years’ time at the present rate of expansion we will need another 71 cities or towns the size of Oxford.

Now look at a map of the UK and try to locate where these new cities will be.

Try to work out where the roads will go, the new housing estates and factories and offices, schools and hospitals. Bear in mind that a lot of the land is uninhabitable.

Where will we grow our food? A lot of people will say, ‘who cares it’s another 70 years we won’t be here?’ But you should care for future generations, they are our grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

We have to stop thinking about ourselves, and whether we can go on foreign holidays, or travel freely around Europe, or have the jobs we all want. There are far more important things.

Our politicians don’t care, all they think about is the next election.

People will say this is just scaremongering. Of course it is, but unless we get scared it will happen.

Immigration in its present form will not continue, we will reach a stage where no one will want to come here, it will be too awful.

Future generations will point the finger at us and say ‘they could have changed things and couldn’t be bothered, they were too selfish!
