Are restaurants to blame for our fatberg problem?
I HAVE lived in Oxford for most of my life,and I have never known anything like this fatberg problem.
I blame the council for allowing so many restaurants and fast food stands in the city. You only have to look at Gloucester Green with its fast food outlets to see the unhygienic conditions with the pigeons hanging around people eating.
No doubt later vermin appear to clear up what's left on the floor.
I wonder where the fat and dirty washing up water goes from these stands?
