IT IS wrong of David Cameron to spend taxpayers money on a leaflet designed to shore up his own EU position.

I suspect it boils down to his old school days rivalry with Boris Johnson.

The Prime Minister perhaps does not like the idea of his old rival outshining him and winning the EU referendum debate.

The last poll put the Brexit camp in the lead and this is maybe why the PM has panicked and spent £9m on a leaflet.
