Saddened by the gradual erosion of my community
FOLLOWING on from your story about roads with Houses of Multiple Occupancy (Oxford Mail, February 3), I am writing to say I am saddened by the loss of my community.
I live in a road with 175 houses, but there are only 10 children resident and scant few over-60s.
Our community noticeboard has been empty for years, neighbours change yearly, sometimes monthly.
It was such a friendly area when I moved here many years ago.
