WE KEEP hearing all this talk about EU reform and it all appears to involve immigration and freedom of movement.

What it should be about is who runs our country – our freely elected government or unelected pen-pushers in Brussels?

If we were allowed to run our own country and make our own rules and laws we would then decide who came here and when, and we would decide what is best for the country and the people. Surely that is what we fought and won two world wars for?

Our veterans did not make the ultimate sacrifice to allow Europe to rule over us they did it for our freedom, such as it is.

Too many people are so full of their own self-importance they refuse to remember what our veterans did for us. The only day they remember them is November 11 and then that is only a show and an act and the second the cameras are turned away and switched off they go back to only thinking of number one.
