IT IS so galling to see the great big sign at Hinksey Hill roundabout boasting about how much money the council has spent on improvements there and aren’t they so brilliant.
Granted I will concede getting out around that area after work has improved, however the morning commute is getting worse than ever and herein lies my major gripe.
Why is no-one issuing fines or monitoring the yellow junction boxes from about 7.30am to 9am on the Hinksey Hill roundabout?
The number of cars, lorries and even buses that seem to have no clue about what they should be doing.
This morning alone I saw more than 30 violations whilst waiting to get on and off the roundabout.
The main culprits tend to be those coming off the northbound exit from the A34.
It causes huge bottlenecks up the Hinksey Hill and down Boars Hill as a result.
