AS A regular reader of your paper, I would like to make a point about the article by Dave Quinn on the Oxfordshire Quiz League.
Like any good journalist, Dave tries really hard to bring the weekly results to life with an articulate report inevitably including a splattering of cliches and verbals that set the mind reeling.
After all there is only so much you can say about The Ploughman’s Bunch or the Green Road Club.
What I would like to see is a league table or two just so that I can understand who is playing who, as it seems everybody plays against each other.
It appears we have a Premiership (they all do these days), pools and divisions and even a section one also known as the Championship, maybe.
While I’m certain I will be reminded of their website, I don’t read that every day and sometimes it’s just nice to know.
