THE new Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, must be doing something right.
In the October 1 by-election Labour gained Grimsbury and Castle ward in Banbury from the Tories.
There was a sizeable six per cent swing to Labour since the General Election only five months ago.
Today's Letters
Thanks to everyone who put their cross beside Shaida Hussein and Claire Bell last week. I have no doubt they will be excellent representatives on Cherwell District and Banbury Town Councils. Both local candidates were well ahead of their Conservative rivals.
Corbyn’s straight talking, in contrast to David Cameron’s weasel words, is clearly having an impact.
The public don’t like their children’s centres being closed, roads going unrepaired and housing costs rocketing.
The wheels are already coming off the Cameron bandwagon.
