YOU reported that an unallocated pot of £110,000 spare city cycling cash is to be spent on ‘lower cost’ schemes and that further assessment was needed to determine where this money would go.

May I suggest that some of this money is spent on painting ‘No Cycling on the Pavement’ next to a designated cycle lane.
These lanes are provided for the cyclists’ safety so it’s only fair that pedestrians’ safety is also considered.
