Congestion: Traffic leaving the John Radcliffe
ALL the people I have spoken to feel that the £1.6m cost of redesigning The Plain roundabout could have been better used. Except for buses, all traffic going to and coming from the John Radcliffe Hospital has to use Headley Way.
A difficult but possible solution would be a direct route from the bypass to the hospital.
This would cause some inconvenience to Northway residents but would ease some of conditions the Headley Way residents suffer.
The new Barton Park estate is to get access to the Northern Bypass so why not combine it with a JR access project?
