CONSIDERING the trauma that Oxford and Oxfordshire has suffered/is suffering with road “improvements”, can we have a cast iron promise from our county and city planners that they will resign en masse if the changes about to take place at Wolvercote and Cutteslowe roundabouts do not improve the free flow of traffic?

Everyone using these routes on a regular basis would surely agree that traffic lights will make the situation worse, and they will also be required at Pear Tree to stop tailbacks onto the A34.

Capital schemes, utilising 20th and 19th century technology, will never solve our problems.

Our city is full. Our county is full. Our country is full.

Investment in jobs should be made in areas of high unemployment, not here.
