I’m sure I’m not the only one who has recently travelled along the Iffley Road and, once again, had to swerve to miss the areas of road that are crumbling.

Did we not, approximately two to three years ago, put up with massive disruption so the whole length of Iffley Road could be taken up to a depth of approximately 30cm so a new surface could be laid?

I’m somewhat confused that the relevant highway engineers who we entrust to carry out the massive road projects along with the chosen contractors and all the latest equipment and materials still can’t deliver a completed contract without these failings?

My council tax along with thousands of other hard workers paid for this, so would it be wrong to ask for the relevant department to refund me and others the cost of this?

How are these areas going to be repaired and who will foot the bill?

I raised concerns approximately three years ago about the manholes sinking at the Heyford Hill project, and yes they did sink.

Come on highways, reply to my email and deliver higher standards that surely can be achieved in the 21st century.
