Parking at the John Radcliffe Hospital is seriously inadequate and getting worse.

I suggest that a park-and-ride bus service should operate to and from the hospital, non-stop, throughout the day.

The obvious place to find a site for the car park is the land around Oxford City Football Club. This is near the hospital and there is existing access to and from the A40.

Provided that the buses went directly, and on a regular shuttle basis, I would have no hesitation in using such a service and I think many motorists would feel the same.

Scarborough Cricket Club uses such a system to help get several thousand spectators to their ground in North Marine Road when Yorkshire play there. It works very well.
